Clinical adviser and research collaborator
ReHabituation is run by Rephobia Limited, a small company in Belfast, registered in Northern Ireland (NI715353).

“I started Rephobia so that more people could work with a therapist on the situations they avoid, from home.”
Rephobia Limited runs the patient services that send requests to ReHabituation, and the workspace itself.
Professor Paul Best of Queen's University Belfast is clinical adviser and research collaborator. Dr Peter Donnelly, who brings medical-device experience, is regulatory adviser. They advise the company. They do not approve therapists, read requests or oversee anyone's care, and they are separate from the therapists who join.

Rephobia Limited's earlier VR work and its founder have had a Unity for Humanity 2025 Student Award, Silver Level Innovator recognition from Innovate NI, a Green Apple Award, the Peter Jones Foundation National Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 and BBC News coverage. None of them endorses ReHabituation. The earlier VR study with Queen's University Belfast was a research collaboration and was non-clinical: see Research.
